About Breast Cancer Now

We're Breast Cancer Now, the research and support charity. We’re dedicated to giving support for today and hope for the future, for everyone affected by breast cancer. We’re researchers, building a better future. Nurses and expert staff, supporting you no matter what. Campaigners, fighting to change the things that matter the most. Volunteers, giving their time, talent and passion. Fundraisers, making sure that our vital work can keep going. We know that breast cancer isn’t yesterday’s problem. Over 55,000 people are diagnosed every year in the UK alone. And 1,000 people still die from the disease every month. That’s why we’re here today. Now.

Before C-me

Breast Cancer Now's staff had used a variety of psychometric tools across the charity but introducing multiple approaches and language models was becoming confusing. They made the decision that they needed to implement just one across the entire organisation to create a consistent approach. Breast Cancer Now wanted to find a way for managers and teams to discuss improving attitudes and behaviours in a way that could be easily understood by all without causing conflict or friction. The charity are always looking at ways to build self-awareness, resilience and emotional intelligence among their employee base.

Results after working with C-me

The charity has responded exceptionally well to C-me, which has established a "common language" enabling teams to address communication and social interaction issues effectively. This consistency has helped in identifying and understanding appropriate workplace behaviors. C-me has also facilitated open discussions about what employees need to feel comfortable and thrive at work. Moreover, it has made conversations about blind spots easier and more productive, fostering a more open and supportive environment.
